What 'set and forget' actually costs
A website that isn't maintained doesn't stay the same — it degrades. Dependencies accumulate security vulnerabilities. Third-party APIs update their specifications. Browser changes affect how forms render. Images load slower as more content accumulates. And somewhere in this gradual drift, something breaks visibly — a contact form that stops delivering, a payment flow that errors on a specific device, a reminder email that silently stops sending. By the time it is noticed, it has already cost you.
The solution
Proactive care before things break
Good maintenance is not reactive — it does not wait for something to fail. It is a scheduled, systematic set of checks that keep the system current before issues surface. Dependencies are updated monthly. APIs are monitored for breaking changes. Performance is measured quarterly. Uptime is monitored continuously. The goal is that nothing breaks visibly, ever — because problems are caught and resolved before they reach your clients.
What's included
Everything you get
Monthly dependency updates
Every package in your platform is reviewed monthly against known vulnerability databases and updated where safe to do so. Security patches are applied as a priority — not queued for the next available window.
Continuous uptime monitoring
Your site is monitored 24/7. If it goes offline, you are notified within minutes and we begin remediation immediately. Most hosting issues are resolved before your clients notice anything is wrong.
Backup verification
Automated backups run daily. We verify monthly that backups are completing successfully and that a restore from backup is possible. A backup that has never been tested is not a safety net.
Quarterly performance audits
Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed scores are measured quarterly. Any degradation from the launch baseline is investigated and addressed — whether from content accumulation, dependency changes, or third-party script bloat.
Minor content updates
Included in Standard and Premium plans: up to one hour of content changes per month — service description updates, team member changes, pricing revisions, new portfolio items. Small updates that keep your site current without a development invoice.
Priority support
Maintenance clients receive priority response on support issues — same-day on Premium, next business day on Standard. When something needs attention, it goes to the front of the queue.
How we build it
From brief to live
Onboarding audit
Every new maintenance engagement starts with a full audit of the current state: dependency versions, known vulnerabilities, performance scores, backup configuration, and any outstanding issues. You receive the audit report before the first billing cycle.
Remediation of existing issues
Any issues identified in the audit are addressed before the ongoing maintenance schedule begins. You start from a known-good baseline — not a maintenance plan on a system already drifting.
Monthly maintenance cycle
Dependency review, security scan, uptime log review, and backup verification run on a fixed monthly schedule. Content changes (where included in your plan) are batched and applied in one deployment per month.
Quarterly review and report
Every quarter you receive a brief report: performance scores, uptime record, issues encountered and resolved, and any recommendations for the next quarter. No surprises.

Common questions
FAQ
Do I need a maintenance plan if I am on a subscription build?
Maintenance is included in subscription builds — it is part of what the monthly fee covers. Standalone maintenance plans are for clients who have taken once-off ownership of their platform and want ongoing care without managing it themselves.
What is the minimum contract period?
Three months. This reflects the reality that meaningful maintenance — particularly the initial audit and remediation — takes time to deliver value. Month-to-month is available after the initial period.
What happens if I cancel my maintenance plan?
Your site continues to run — nothing breaks on cancellation. You take back full responsibility for updates, security, and monitoring. We can provide a handover document covering the current state of your system.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between plans?
Yes, with one month's notice. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Is this available for sites Yoros didn't build?
In some cases, yes — but only after a technical audit confirms the site is built on a stack we can maintain effectively. We do not take on maintenance for WordPress sites, Wix, or other platforms outside our stack.
